Handling Process
1.
Try to query contact on IP phone.
Mesage: Connection
Timeout
2. Check the layer 3 connection between the IP phone and
LDAP server.
PING successful.
3. Check the LDAP settings
on the IP phone. Make sure the user/password for accessing LDAP server are
correct.
The user/password information were incorrect. After changing
to correct information, the IP phone could retrieve contacts from LDAP server,
but the information was inconsistent.
Solution: Upgrade to the latest
software version. After upgrade the contacts were showing fine on the IP
phone.
