Hello, I would like to get information about something and support about solving my problem.
If we summarize the issue as follows;
An institution that we serve changes its servers without our knowledge.
The system was operating normally even though the eSight program, which is the network control and management software, was installed on one of the servers. they realize this later.
Our user has changed the machine on which the eSight Program is installed.
We moved our eSight Program to the new virtual machine.
There were some bugs, we fixed them. We rearranged the IP and ethernet card information and the system became operational. on New Platform when we reboot and run the system
eSight worked. gives a warning error on some licenses. In some licenses, we get the error that it will close after a while. I guess it looks like the licenses on the old machine are not defined on the new machine. In such a case, do we need to do a license transfer? or what can be done for license error. We have contrac number and license keys, but they do not allow to use these keys in any way. As a result, we cannot actively use a software in this case.
What can be done in this situation now?
1-) a new machine installation, a new Suse Linux installation, and then a new eSight installation, re-planning, reconfiguring all devices, etc. etc. We face a lot of work :(
what about the other option?
2-) Is there another way to activate new licenses for the virtual machine we are moving?
I am sure that Huawei Engineers will offer an easy option and solution in this regard, as in every other issue.
How do we activate the eSight program on the new server?
Can you assist with this?
Thank you very much in advance.
