We have tried to move a client to the Huawei network in 62ARR-1800-0/S04/P3, it's an 1G service.

The physical link is about  20km, we used the SFP 10G-1550nm-40km-SM-SFP+ MTRS-1S60-01 and the customer used a 1550nm, 50km SFP.

Once we provided the service, the customer received -2.8dB instead of -13.8dB in the old Network.

After that, we put an -5dB attenuator on the port and the client saw CRC errors on the other end of this service.

We would like to know if the SFP MTRS-1S60-01 is compatible with 1G services?

Dear friend,

It does not support 1G services. When a transmission device is interconnected with a client-side datacom device, parameters such as the rate, wavelength, and error correction type of the optical modules at both ends must be consistent. Otherwise, services cannot be provisioned.

For more information, please click:

SFP+ -10G-1550nm-SMF-40km

UNI and NNI

Thank you!
