Hello.

I have a ar 2240c I can't assign a trunk to a physical ethernet port VLAN. returns an error: first, the l3 interface must be switched to the l2 port.

Hello friend,
The easiest way is to switch the Layer 3 port to the Layer 2 port. The portswitch command changes the working mode of Ethernet interfaces from Layer 3 mode to Layer 2 mode.
