Error Occurs When a Template Is Exported Using Internet Explorer 8

Symptom

Log in to the OMU portal of the server using Internet Explorer 8. On the External System page, click SaveTemplate to download a template. However, an error occurs and the template cannot be downloaded.

Possible Cause

Internet Explorer 8 is abnormal and needs to be reset.

Solution

  1. Go to Internet Options in Internet Explorer 8.
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. Click Reset to reset Internet Explorer 8, as shown in Figure 1.

  4. Click OK.
  5. Then, choose Advanced > Settings and select Use TLS 1.1 and Use TLS 1.2, as shown in Figure 1.
  6. Restart the browser and log in to the OMU portal again.
  7. Check whether the fault is rectified when the browser is restarted.
