Symptom
Log in to the OMU portal of the server using Internet Explorer 8. On the External System page, click SaveTemplate to download a template. However, an error occurs and the template cannot be downloaded.
Possible Cause
Internet Explorer 8 is abnormal and needs to be reset.
Solution
- Go to Internet Options in Internet Explorer 8.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Click Reset to reset Internet Explorer 8, as shown in Figure 1.Figure 1 Resetting the browser

- Click OK.
- Then, choose and select Use TLS 1.1 and Use TLS 1.2, as shown in Figure 1.
- Restart the browser and log in to the OMU portal again.
- Check whether the fault is rectified when the browser is restarted.
