This topic describes how to deal with the problem that error indicating that the msvcp71.dll file is not found during the installation of the LMT client on a pc running windows XP.

Possible Cause

The msvcr71.dll and msvcp71.dll files are library files provided by the Windows operating system. In some versions of Windows, however, the files are not provided, leading to the client loading failure.

Solution

Copy the msvcr71.dll and msvcp71.dll files in the ivrcompile directory of the LMT installation files to the C:\WINDOWS\system32 directory.

If you find error related to the msvcp71.dll then you need to download msvcp71.dll and then you get the steps to fix the error. This post was last edited by khushi at 2018-10-03 08:16.

You can find these files under the IVR directory stores on the PC itself
