ERPS technology for layer 2 ring network

Hello,

We need help on ERPS. We are going to deploy layer 2 Ethernet network with ERPS ring technology. We will use Huawei S5320-28X-LI-DC switch layer 2 Ethernet ring network where we will use two router to push external traffic on it.

My question here how many switches could participate or use for ERPS ring or recommended for ERPS? Also share disadvantages and advantages of ERPS technology for ring network.
