Equipment Fan "Operating Mode" option is missing

Hello,


I need your help regarding a situation. 

At an OSN 9800, I want to set the power of the equipment's fan and I saw that there is no option like in the following screenshot:

This is how the customer's NCE (Product Version: V100R019C00CP6023) looks like:

Here are all the informations about the equipment:


  • BoardType=TN18FAN

  • BarCode=2102120826N0K3003232

  • OSN 9800

  • NE Software Version(VRC)   

  • V100R007C00SPC700


Could you please verify and let me know what could be the problem?

Hello, friend!


In the NE Explorer, click the NE and choose Configuration > Fan Attributes from the Function Tree.


Click the Fan Attributes tab to query or set the fan speed mode and level.

Click the Joint Fan Speed Adjustment tab to specify a fan group for unified speed adjustment.


Fan Rate Mode

Adjustable mode, automatic mode

The fan rate level can be operated when the adjustable mode is selected.If the automatic mode is selected, the NE automatically adjusts the fan speed according to the equipment environment.


Fan Speed Level

The value ranges of Stop, Slow Rate, Low Rate, Medium Rate, Medium Rate, Medium Rate, High Rate, and High Rate vary with products. For details, see the display on the NCE GUI.

Compared with the low rate, the high rate has the best heat dissipation effect, but the noise is high.
