Hi, guys! Is it possible to equally distribute traffic over the Eth Trunk interfaces? I have an 2GE Eth Trunk, but while one 1GE interface usage is about 96.68%, the another is about 51%. I want something like 73.84% in each 1GE interface. I readed the documentation and tested almost everything, but in all cases it didn't do difference

I appreciate any help!

Do you use MPLS traffic through this eth-trunk. If yes you need to use enhanced load-balance profile. What is the model of switch you are using?

Using MPLS you need to configure load-balance-profile:

System-view
load-balance-profile "name"
mpls field sport 2nd-label top-label

int eth-trunk x
load-balance enhanced profile "name"

I had better results with R011 version with most recent patch, but the load balance never will be perfect, because each L2VPN will pass trought only one interface of the Eth-trunk, because the P equipment consider all content of each L2VPN in an unique flow.

So I'll try R012 version with HI switches to see if I get my problem resolved. From what you said, I think that will be the best solution.

Really thank you!

On the interface where the L2VC is configured, you should apply "mpls l2vpn flow-label both" command.

R12 is only available to S6720-HI, and already become installed on those equipments. Is not possible to use R012 on other equipments yet.
