EP682 Fault Information - Collecting Logs Using the eOMC

Hi, everyone, today I'd like to show you how to collect logs using the eOMC.

  1. Log in to the enterprise network terminal management client of the OMC.

  2. Choose OTA > OTA log upload>Create(Note: Logs collected on the eOMC are onekey logs).

  3. On the Create dialog box, set Version of Terminal to the current terminal version, set User Short Number to the user short number. Click Query. In the Available NE list area, information about the specified terminal is displayed.

    Click the 1 button in the middle of the two areas.

    The terminal information is displayed in the Selected NE List area, as shown in the following figure:

  4. According to the "OK", will be sent to a terminal upload log push command, if the terminal and the terminal security version of "Settings->Updates->System updates->Log uploading" checkbox is not selected, the terminal will pop up log upload request confirmation box, click "Agree" button to start upload log. Otherwise, the terminal will automatically upload the log. As shown in the following figure:

5. After about 10 minutes, click the task marked in green. Success is displayed in the Net Element List. This indicates that the logs are successfully uploaded.

6. If you use the PC version of OMC, the log file in the OMC Directory: \eOMC\server\ftpd\tem\upload\uelog terminal cornet at the beginning of the file, for example: 3031_20150106174058.tar.bz2, this is the log file uploaded.
7. If you are using the Server version of the OMC, select the completion of the task, click "File View"". As shown in the following figure:

8. Click "File View", will pop up as shown in the following file management interface.

9. In the left, choose 'save the log to the local path', in the right side of the log file on the right mouse button, select "Export to local", as shown below:

10. Until the export is complete, the log file will be saved in the selected local path, as shown in the figure below:
