eNSP 1.0.208 OSPF, NBMA, Frame Relay Problem

Latest reply: Nov 16, 2014 13:02:39 15668 7 0 0 0
Hi all,

a simple OSPF NBMA eNSP lab with Framerelay does not work. Maybe I did a mistake, could also be an eNSP Bug.

Who can help?

Link to that scenario (you can follow links to download the lab):

Thanks a lot in advance

I think this is not an OSPF issue,

The fr-links change their status from minute to minute.

Did you open the lab ? Please see the console messages after startup.

but, base on your top. , if you want AR0 and AR2, or AR1 and AR2 to establish adjacency is not possible.

because, AR0 and AR2 are in same broadcast network, they need to select DR/BDR, but DR/BDR should be in the same area, but AR0 is in area 0 and AR1 in area 1, so AR0 and AR2 can not establish adjacency.

the same theory  with AR1 and AR2

and aslo, I do not know why you configure too many dlci in your FRSW?

you can just configure like this , I think it will be ok :

1: 102--2:201

1:103--3:301

2:203--3:302

Thank you, I will test this and report here.

After one hour testing with new eNSP 1.0.210 , I must say "yes you can" :-)
