VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio)
For a radio(transmitter or receiver) to deliver power to an antenna, the impedance of theradio and transmission line must be well matched to the antenna's impedance. The parameter VSWR is a measure that numerically describes how well the antennais impedance matched to the radio or transmission line it is connected to.
VSWR standsfor Voltage Standing Wave Ratio, and is also referred to as Standing Wave Ratio(SWR). VSWR is a function of the reflection coefficient, which describes thepower reflected from the antenna. If the reflection coefficient is givenby Γ , thenthe VSWR is defined by the following formula:

MML COMMAND:
STR VSWRTEST - Use this command to start the VSWR test on the TX channel to checkwhether the antenna system is properly installed. If the numbers of thecabinet, subrack, slot, and antenna port are not specified, the VSWRinformation of all the RRUs or RFUs are queried in batch.
