Encrypting the Serial Number of the MA5683T

Hi, there! 


Recently, I encountered a problem. The SN in the configuration file of the backup OLT is garbled characters.


ont add 0 0 sn-auth "%OC14<)X2F;!M>E6M&.Q'>Q!!%"


At the same time, when I check the SNMP mib (1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.6.128.1.1.2.43.xx.xx), garbled characters are displayed.


So I wonder if this problem is caused by encryption? How can I see the correct SN?

The exported configuration is converted into garbled characters for security purposes.


You need to log in to the device through the CLI and run the display ont info command to view the actual SN of the device.
