  HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hi I have installed few solar invertors in the POL. Unfortunately they send Multicast traffic to report provide real time data to the main controller located in the Server Room. The ivertors are connected to MDUs (MA5626) and I need to enable Multicast from them througth the OLT (MA5800-X2).

here is the setup:

Invertor --> MA5626 --> MA5800-X2 --> Switch --> Controller

The VLAN I use for this network is VLAN 500.

Could you please share how I need to configure the MDU and OLT to enable Multicast from the Inveror.

Here is the current config:

Dear friend!

According to your description, your scene should be the Bridging Networking(GPON) scene.

You can perform the configuration according to the following scheme.

https://support.huawei.com/hedex/hdx.do?docid=EDOC1100190067&id=EN-US_TASK_0140680281&lang=en

Hi,

Thank you for your answer.
I already tested this but with no success.

The proposed solution is when the Multicast Sender is on the provider's network and the Multicast Receiver is attached to the ONU (TV+STB).
My scenario is the opposite: Multicast Senders (inverters) are attached on the Access Network (ONU/MDU) as the retriever (controller) is located in the provider's network.

any other ideas?

Regards,
MetroExpert
