Problem Description

The problem is that customer wants to confirm the configuration for email alerts about systems (hardware), cameras, network, backup, and disk space

Product: IVS3800

Problem Analysis

1. IVS currently only supports services alarm linkage with emails like behavior alarm, etc.

2. Based on the product documentation of eSight and IVS3800, eSight can send email notifications for critical and major alarms.

Solution

There are 2 ways to get alarm:

First : Below is the iClient services alarm linkage configuration brief steps. 

For more details, please consult with IVS3800 C50SPC300 product documentation:

1. Configure mail server on CSP OM 

    Path: CSP > application configuration >configuration management > unified configuration > suervilliance platform VCNSvcMgrService

2. Configure service alarm linkage.

    Path: iClient > alarms > alarm linkage> new alarm linkage
