This document describes how to configure Rx interface. The Rx interface is used for the negotiation of QoS parameter settings for video services between AF entities and terminals, and between AF entities and eCore9300 devices, and transmitting dedicated bearer requests from AF entities to the eCore9300.
1. The Rx interface is an interface between the AF entity and the policy and charging rules function (PCRF) entity for processing video services policies.
2. A PCRF entity generates QoS parameters based on service requests from the AF entity and defined policy configurations and triggers the eCore9300 to initiate a dedicated bearer to the terminal.
3. The PCRF entity processes only service requests from AF entities but does not process service requests from UEs. The PCRF entity makes policies by using QoS templates.
