Band 3 is a standard LTE band and here is some introduction for the corresponding band
Ø Band type = FDD
Ø Common Name = DCS
Ø Uplink Frequency= 1710-1785 MHz
Ø Downlink Frequency= 1805-1880 MHz
Ø Channel Bandwidths= 1.4, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20Mhz
eLTE Solution will use the guard band of Band 3. Then the operating frequency of eLTE Rapid is 1785 MHz - 1805 MHz and the band width is 20 MHz

Problem Description
eLTE System can work in the guard band of the Band 3. However in that case there
can be interference since Band 3 is a standard LTE frequency and carriers are
using it. Therefore to be safer regarding with interference eLTE can be used
with 10 MHz bandwidth like;
[ 1710-1785 MHz ] ===
[ 1790Mhz – 1795Mhz (center) – 1800Mhz ] === [ 1805-1880 MHz ]
eLTE can be operate in both Band 62 and B59, for the details of such bands one can check Figure 1.
The difference band 59 and 62 is the following; they both are same frequency, and they are referring to
different EARFCN, because Band 62 is just for Huawei, however, Band 59 is used by other companies as well.

Proposed Solution
For operating rapid in 1790-1800MHz, Downlink EARFCN will be selected as 64836 and uplink and downlink bandwidth will be selected as 10Mhz.
