Are there any ways I could register for Basic Privileges without associating myself with a company?

As we say to other users.

The forum does not have firmware. 

The firmware of an ONT is generally held by the device provider and the ISP because they sell the ONT and related services.

All we can offer you is the ONT upgrade software. Please click EchoLife EG8245Q

The ONT must be registered on the OLT. The OLT can register the ONT through the CLI or NMS.
