Hi dears


1. Here's the information about my device.

Device Type:             EG8245H5

Firmware Version:      V5R019C00S105


Main AlarmConcern: [Error][Alarm-Log] AlarmID:104001,AlarmLevel:Error,Devicereset. Cause: System reset after being powered on, Terminal:OTHER


I have searched forpossible causes and solutions online, but only for device types DG8041Wand HG8245Q are the articles found.


Please answer the following questions. Thank you.

1.) Is there a new firmware for EG8245H5?

2.) Will iteliminate the alarm if we just upgrade the firmware?

Hello, friend!

1. Check whether an ONT alarm is generated when the power adapter is removed or the power button is pressed. If the ONT is powered off, an alarm is generated when the ONT is powered off.


2. ONTs of all types and versions can generate this alarm when the ONT is powered off.
