EG8145V5 Port Forwarding Not Working

Hello.


I've been trying to host a server in a game but I just can't get ports open. I tried with and without DMZ switched on, same with UPnP and it just doesn't open the port. I've used different port check tools online to see if the port is open but no.


I've watched your video about port forwarding and that's why I have 2000 in the external port number and 30814 on the internal port number.


My operator (isp) doesn't block port forwarding


I've been struggling with this countless hours by now and I am getting hopeless.

Hello, friend!


You do not need to configure the External Source IP Address. If the External Source IP Address is configured, only this IP address can be used to access the network. In addition, the IP address after NAT is changed.


If the ports on both ends are idle and available, no problem occurs. The possible cause is that the firewalls of the client and server intercept packets. Please disable the firewalls and try to access the server.

1. Port Forwarding Configuration


In the navigation tree on the left, choose Forward Rules > Port Mapping Configuration. In the pane on the right, click New. In the dialog box that is displayed set the parameters related to port mapping.

Before port mapping, ensure that the peer port is enabled.


2. UPnP Configuration


In the navigation tree on the left, choose Network Applications > UPnP Configuration. In the pane on the right, determine whether to enable the UPnP.
