If eDC610 accesses the enterprise network trunking system through the public network such as GSM/UMTS/LTE or Wi-Fi, can it perform service such as P2P call, group call and etc? if yes, how to implement it?

Hi dear,
Sure, The eDC610 can access the enterprise network trunking system through the public network (GSM/UMTS/LTE) or Wi-Fi hotspot or eLTE enterprise network to perform services such as P2P call, group call, video, SMS, MMS, and GIS. Generally, when the eDC610 access the eLTE network through the public network (GSM/UMTS/LTE) or Wi-Fi hotspot, a firewall is deployed between the eLTE network and the Internet. In this case, the NAT function must be enabled on the firewall and the firewall policy is configurable. In scenarios where NAT traversal is involved, configure NAT on the firewall or NAT device so that the eDC610 connected to the public network can reach the firewall using public IP addresses and then are forwarded using NAT of the firewall to the eAPP server on the enterprise network. This enables the eDC610 to access the eLTE network through the public network.

Hello,

The call initiated between two eDC users is called a P2P call or private call. The P2P call includes the full duplex communication and half-duplex communication modes. Only the two parties who participate in the P2P call can hear each other. An eDC user with the discreet listening right can also listen to a P2P call of a target user in real time without being perceived.
P2P call services are performed on the User page.

  • The eDC user has the P2P call local recording right. For details, see "Registering Dispatcher" in eUDC660 Product Documentation.
  • The eDC user is engaged in a connected P2P call.

Recording calls of eDCs: Without being perceived by other users, a dispatch person can record the P2P calls and group calls in which the dispatch person participates. In addition, the dispatch person can query and replay the recording files. When using this feature, you are obligated to take considerable measures, in compliance with the laws of the countries concerned and the user privacy policies of your company, to ensure that the personal data of users is fully protected.

Procedure

  1. Click the imgDownload?uuid=e6cd0c0bff7145fc9ad2c1d tab at the lower left corner of the main interface to enter the Current Calls page.
  2. Start/stop recording a P2P call on the eDC.
