Huawei eCore solution uses the standard Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) architecture and provides a new-generation cloud-based mobile broadband solution.
Description of Huawei NFV implementation architecture

Huawei NFV implementation architecture:

By the logic layers a VNF consists of a VNF platform (VNFP) and multiple VNF components (VNFCs).
§ The VNFP provides platform services, including the element management system (EMS) interface, configuration and operation and maintenance (O&M), integration policy management, resource management, loading and deployment management, virtual device management, and device management.
§ A VNFC implements a specific service support function. For example, cloud session load balancer_VNFC (CSLB_VNFC) provides load sharing and centralized distribution of service packets for other VNFCs.
Virtual NE layer by the logic layers

By the NE types a VNF consists of multiple components on one or more virtual machines (VMs) and virtualizes the NE functions on networks.
A resource unit (RU) is a container for deploying service function logic and has a group of processes to implement specific functions. A VM may contain one or more RUs.
