HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hello everyone.

I have an EchoLife HG8245Q2 and it is connected to my ISP. And I have 2 phone lines active. (and they work).

But I don't have internet connection with cable (rj45) as with the wifi.

Either way I can't get internet active.

Because the telephone lines do work, I know that the internet is there.

How or what should I set up to get internet on the cable (rj45) as well as on the WiFi?

Thanks for your help.

Hello, friend!

According to the information you provide, you need to check the service type of the ONT WAN configuration.

You can find the detailed operation guide for logging in to the ONT in the forum.

In the navigation tree on the left, choose Status > WAN Information

If the WAN service type is VoIP or TR069_VOIP, only the voice service can work. If you need to access the Internet, you need to set the WAN service type to TR069_INTERNET. If you need to use both the voice and Internet access services, The WAN configuration service type must be set to VOIP_INTERNET or TR069_VOIP_INTERNET.

( If this parameter is not displayed on the page, you can determine the service type based on the WAN name.)

As with wireless networks, click the WLAN tab. In the navigation tree on the left, choose 2.4G/5G Basic Network Settings. In the right pane, set basic parameters for the 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi network.

After the SSID is created, the SSID must be bound to the WAN with Internet service type routing.

Because you are a home user, you cannot perform the configuration yourself. You will need to contact your ISP for a specific solution.

Thanks!
