Hi 

I have this device with me and it is restating after every 30 minutes even when it is connected to the internet or not.

Also, there is no support/firmware available here.

Please have your say and guide if someone has a similar device with them.

I found similar issues with this model:

After a few HG8245Cs are used in a damp environment for a long time, the HG8245Cs may be restored to factory settings or restarted.

Solution:
This issue can be effectively resolved by optimizing the button switch detection signal. Upgrade the live network to V300R013C10SPC121 or later. To ensure version normalization and back-end maintenance, it is recommended that this version be normalized to the baseline version V300R015C10SPC120.


You can apply for the firmware from your ISP. Because the ONT is customized by the carrier, the ISP has the corresponding permission to download the firmware.

The device is repeatedly reset after being powered off.


ONU reset by the software


This may be a standby software problem caused by the setting after power failure You are advised to contact the ISP to apply for a new device version.


If the fault persists after the upgrade, the hardware of the device is faulty after the power-off. In this case, repair the hardware.

i have checked with ISP and they have no issue even i have checked this device by disconnecting fiber optic cable.
I have borrowed an other device of same model and both have same problem.
for upgrade i do not have firmware or link from where i can it.

So the problem is solved now with a different firmware which changed its version.
it is a custom build firmware is per my info and devises are working fine after upgradation.
the market is flooded with used devices and with small firmwares people are converting gpon to epon and vice versa, the models are hg8245and hg8245c,

i have same model hg8245c and same problem of disconnection after 20 to 30mints.
can you help me by telling me the firmware you upgraded to hg8245c which solved your problem.

I don't have the firmware with me because it is upgraded by the the person who provides me service (isp).
i'll try to get the firmware and upload here (if it is allowed ) so everyone could download it.

best thing to do is go to router setting page and click device information page, then see software version and write down here.
