ISSUE DESCRIPTION


I have an ONT device - EchoLife HG8245 GPON Terminal (CLASS B+) - SIP version. I am interested in upgrading its device firmware to solve the issues where the device hangs with a large number of TCP/UDP connections. My device has the following hardware and software:


  • Hardware version: 130DC600;


  • Software version: V1R003C00S205.


Can you please help me solve the issue with my EchoLife HG8245 GPON terminal (Class B+) firmware upgrade? I would somebody to tell me if the latest version of the HG8245 firmware (HG8245 V100R006C00SPC122) is supported on this device. If it isn't, what would be the latest firmware version for this specific device?

Unfortunately I do not see this version on the Support Portal - under Downloads for HG8245 - I only see the version mentioned above. Can you please provide me with the link to the latest version ?

Can anyone provide me with the download link for the latest HG8245 firmware SPC201 ? I have a registered account with the registered serial number of my device but I cannot see this latest firmware.

Unfortunately, when I login and click on your link I get the message: "Currently, there is no content available.".

The latest firmware I see on the HG8245 page is

Hi,

This is rather unprofessional. Why don't you make your firmware available for customers with a valid serial number of a certain device. I have a problem on this device HG8245 and I cannot solve it since you won't provide me with the appropriate firmware, which should be, in my opinion publicly available for any customer that has issues with a certain device. I have been chasing your support for 3 days and I am still nowhere near my goal. You give me the link for download but that link doesn't lead me to the desired firmware or I simply do not have access to it. Such business practice and such professionalism will surely lead you nowhere.

Hello, I have registered account and than registered a product (HG8245) - Hardware Version 130C4400

My product registration was approved with application number (EPR1000035579) and now I can see in downloads V100R006C00SPC122 and V100R006C01SPC122 (same version for different protocol firmware)
Because the protocol I use is SIP, and not H.248 I flashed the V100R006C00SPC122 firmware and uploaded the config file from my ISP that I previously backed up. And EVERYTHING is working fine, Internet, IPTV and VOIP (T-Home Macedonia)


My question is why I can only see one version of the firmware that is from 2013 and not newer versions ? As I can read on the forums there are newer versions like V100R006C00SPC201 from 2014 and maybe even newer ...
Can someone help me to get the latest firmware version for my HG8245 ? I read somewere that you have to be a partner, but I can't be a partner I'm just a user that wants to update the newest firmware for my product.
Please someone help me to get the latest version.
