Based on the description of the problem, and the description of the device lights posted by a friend in the comments section:

If the device indicator blinks red but the network is not affected, you can exclude the first point: red - steady on.

The possible causes of the indicator blinking red are as follows:

1.  The edge ONT has detected a device that can be paired.

2. The edge ONT is being paired with Huawei gateway in one-click mode.

3. The edge ONT is performing WPS pairing.

The preceding problem is not caused by the device. Instead, the device is in the normal state. If you do not want the device indicators to be checked and matched, you can set security filtering settings, such as the maximum number of connected devices, on the WebUI of the device.
