This post will tell you one issue for ECC count reach above 100 nodes.
Problem description:
NE ECC count increase 100 nodes in the network.
Handling procedure:
A new GNE is proposed to cusotmer and after approval the new GNE in the same network was created
The NE which is to be formed GNE was given an IP according to the customer IP address information
Then the Subnet mask is set at the new forming GNE and then ethernet cable connectivity is completed with the router near to the new GNE
The NE maked as GNE in DCN managent and 40 nodes near the new GNE were set as nodes for newly created GNE
After this the ECC count reduced below 100.
Root cause:
Root cause was there was only single GNE in the network managing many nodes.
Solution:
New GNE proposed and after new GNE reation the issue resolved for ECC count greater than 100.
