1. Removing Components

 Notice: Remove the fan modules, PSUs, management modules, switch modules, and pass through modules from the E9000 chassis before installing the chassis. When all these modules are installed in the E9000 chassis, the total weight is around 100 kg, which exceeds the allowed maximum weight (for example, 68 kg) carried by four persons.

 

Remove switch modules and pass through modules.


 

Remove management modules.

 

Remove PSUs.

 

Remove fan modules.

  

 

2. Installing the Chassis

  • A maximum of eight full-width compute nodes can be installed in a chassis.
  • Full-width compute nodes are installed in slots from bottom to top.
