Dear forum members,

Huawei devices for PV installation : Sun2000-4 6KTL, Luna2000 battery and DDSU666-h

Communication protocol : Mobus via rs458

I would like to create my own portal with statistics for any of the equipement (inverter, battery, pv, net, ...).
I currently already receive the data from inverter via modbus connection on rs458 port of the inverter but I also would like to see the stats of the battery.

To which device I need to connect best to gather all the stats?
Are the stats available through inverter connection directly, should I fysicaly connect to DDSU or should I use other Modbus unit-id?
Which registers are available?

I currently use below documentation:

SUN2000MA V100R001

MODBUS Interface Definitions

Issue 01 Date 2019-01-02

Appreciate the help.
Thanks in advance

Hello, dear.
To connect the inverter to the third party system for management, you need to follow the guide for operation, you can refer to the guide I posted for operation SUN2000L and SUN2000MA steps are the same.
https://forum.huawei.com/enterprise/en/how-to-connect-sun2000l-trough-modbus-tcp-to-a-third-party-monitoring/thread/723195-100027
Normally if the inverter support to connect a battery should can take info from the battery from Modbus
For the battery, i am not sure.

Hi @BetterMing , Thank you for the answer.
I mentioned that I already can read data from inverter. Btw, through your proposed way, the reseller is already connected. Contractualy, we may not use this connection.
I was asking to which device I need to connect to read all data from my setup, including battery and powersensor. Your page only mention inverter. And also, in case data is available from battery through inverter (which I actually expect), what addresses to use to read data from battery? I can't find this information.

Meanwhile I could find new link with addresses from powersensor (DDSU666-h). See link : https://github.com/basking-in-the-sun2000/solar-logger/blob/master/Huawei.py. So now, I only need addresses for battery data.
And offcourse, my inverter support battery.

For those looking for an answer:
- Inverter contains all data. Including for DDSU666-h and Battery.
- Contact Huawei support to get the latest documentation. Not any of the documentation that I could find on the internet contains all the information I was looking for. The one from support contained most of the modbus data but not even all.
- In case you want to connect to Modbus tcp. Don't follow the instruction earlier in the post. Contact Huawei support. Request for the latest WIFI / Ethernet Dongle software (V100R001C00SPC120). Once the dongle is updated, you can request data via modbus TCP via FE connection.
