E1 CABLE CONFIGURATION METHOD
Table 1 describes the E1 cable configuration method.
PIN ASSIGNMENT OF THE 75-OHM DB9-TO-BNC CABLE
Figure 1 shows the structure of a 75-ohm DB9-to-BNC cable.
Table 2 shows the pin assignments of a 75-ohm DB9-to-BNC cable.
NOTES
Tx stands for transmission and Rx stands for receiving.
The R and T tags on BNC coaxial cables indicate the signal directions on a router. The R and T BNC coaxial cables must be connected to the Tx and Rx interfaces on the remote device.
