Hello,

Do I need a license for the AR2220E to configure the below?   In case a license is required, please share a document for the license which needs to be purchased.

[Huawei-Tunnel0/0/1]nhrp entry xx.xx.xx.xx xx.xx.xx.xx register

Info: DSVPN License is disable, please check availability of the license and load new license.


By the way, which routers support DSVPN by default? Do all AR routers need this license?

Hi,

Please contact the Huawei local office to get the required license for the 'DSVPN function'(Value-Added Security Package).


For DSVPN-capable devices, their licensing requirements for the DSVPN function are as follows:

  • AR100&AR120 series: DSVPN is a basic feature of the device and is not under license control.

  • AR150&AR160&AR200&AR1200&AR2200&AR3200&AR3600 series: By default, DSVPN function is disabled on a new device.

    • AR150&AR160&AR200 series: AR150&160&200 Value-Added Security Package

    • AR1200 series: AR1200 Value-Added Security Package

    • AR2200 series: AR2200 Value-Added Security Package

    • AR3200 series: AR3200 Value-Added Security Package

    • AR3600 series: AR3600 Value-Added Security Package
