DP300 cannot enter in standby mode

DP300 cannot enter in standby mode even though the "Enter in sleep mode" feature is set to 1/10 or 30 minutes after no activity registered.

No alarm information is raised by this misconfiguration, neither in logs of the DP300.

Checked the logs of the DP300 from ineer web administrative interface and there is nothing registered that can show us that the terminal is entering or not entering in sleep mode.

Even though the DP300 is set to enter in sleep mode after 1 minute of innactivity, the terminal does not go to standby mode and stays in awake state all the time even though is not used.

NOTE: there is no user connected on its web administrative interface during this period of tests.

I have identified the issue on the DP300 as being a configuration fault.

The issue why the terminal does not entered in sleep mode state was because of the presentation source was set on 1 MAIN IN instead of 2 DVI IN.

When you set the presentation as 1 MAIN IN it tells the terminal to be in active mode for presentation, this is an auxiliary way of keeping the camera active all the time and this does not allow it to enter in sleep mode as being in a continuously activity by showing/displaying the local video on the display.

The solution is to change the Presentation Source from 1 MAIN IN into 2 DVI IN, as per below operation:

After this change was made the terminal could enter the sleep mode according to the setting, afte 1/10 or 30 minutes of innactivity.

Do not configure features that you are not sure about their use of applience.
