Hello, Huawei engineers!

We have provisioned a batch of VIP desktops for office needs.

Now that the course project is over, VIP desktops are no longer needed. However, we want to retain these VMs. Can Huawei Desktop Cloud reduce VIP desktops to common desktops?

Hello, friend!

Yes, Huawei desktop cloud allows you to restore VIP desktops to common desktops.

Please refer to the following steps to restore VIP desktops to common desktops.

1. Log in to FusionAccess Web Client as an administrator.

2. On FusionAccess, choose Resources > Desktops > Computers.

The page for managing computers is displayed.

3. In the computer list, select one or more computers that have been assigned and need to be upgraded to VIP desktops. Then, choose Operation > Set > Restore to Common Desktop.

4. In the displayed Confirm dialog box, click OK.

5. In the Prompt dialog box, click OK.

The computer automatically restarts. After the restart is complete, the computer name is displayed in blue.

Hope this helps!
