Does VCN540-64 support external storage (NAS) like synology device?

Hi,

You can connect VCN on a network and connect storage directly on the network. From there, you can use it to dump back up on the extra storage attached.


Edit: External storage is only supported on large VCNs like VCN3000 or IVS3800. It is not supported on VCN500/VCN540.

Thanks for your answer, I would like to set IPC recording on external storage server is can possible ? As I check huawei ipc does not support NAS like Hikvision and Dahua.

Hi, You can use softVCN to clone the cameras and use bigger VCN capable to store data. But it self, it can't dump data without as it is for small locations.
