UltraPath does not provide the function of increasing bandwidth, but it has the function of I/O load balancing. The main function is to share the network traffic and extended bandwidth, so that multiple paths can carry the I/O traffic destined for the same destination.

If there are two or more paths between the application server and the storage system controller, you need to install the UltraPath software and set the multipathing routing policy to implement load balancing.
