The static MAC entries are backed up in real time and do not need to be re-learned after the active/standby switchover. The dynamic MAC entries are stored on the LPUs and do not need to be re-learned.
The ARP entries are also backed up in real time and do not need to be re-learned.
After the active/standby switchover, the TCP connection is terminated and the neighbor relation is re-established. Therefore, the switch needs to re-learn the routing entries.
