Hello, dear!

Welcome to our community!

  1. The IVS1800 does not support the use of hard disks from different vendors.

  2. The IVS1800 does not support the use of disks of different types from the same vendor.

For example, monitoring disks and enterprise disks are used together.

  3. Supports hybrid use of disks of the same type from the same vendor (4 TB/6 TB enterprise disks).

  • If hard disks are configured as RAID 5, the actual hard disk capacity is calculated based on the minimum hard disk capacity of all hard disks.

For example: If one 4 TB hard disk and two 6 TB hard disks are configured as RAID 5, the actual size is 8 TB.

  • If disks are configured as non-RAID, the actual available capacity of each disk is the actual capacity of the disk.

For example: If one 4 TB hard disk and two 6 TB hard disks are configured as non-RAID, the actual size is 16 TB.
