It is recommended that Layer 2 communication, if the network is Layer 3 interworking, meet the following requirements.
1 The physical server NIC needs to be configured with the network port aggregation (Bond) and the mode is active-backup (the Bond mode is 1).
In the case of 210GE networking, the hardware is at least 2*10Gb networking, and at least 2*6Gb is used for the storage plane.
Bandwidth sharing can meet the requirements of 40Gb/56Gb IB networking.
3 NIC and network type: 10GE (TCP/IP protocol), 40Gb IB (RDMA protocol), 56Gb IB (RDMA protocol), 10GE/25GE RoCE (RDMA protocol).
4 When using cabinet-level security, the cabinets must have at least 4*10Gb bandwidth, and each server should have at least 2*10Gb bandwidth, and the storage plane should have at least 2*6Gb and above bandwidth.
5 It is recommended that the network delay be less than 1ms and the packet loss rate be less than 3%.
