Do OpenGauss support cross-AZ multi-active and cross-region capacity? Can cross-region active-active be supported?

OpenGauss is a distributed database that supports intra-city multi-AZ multi-active, remote cross-region DR, and DR RPO.


If the value is not 0, the RTO is minute-level.


The remote network (more than 1000 km) has high latency. To support cross-region active-active and ensure that the RPO is 0.


Data synchronization or cross-region access overheads are high and database performance is low. Cross-region active-active is not supported currently.
