Does IVS require double stream transmission

Usually the main stream is used for local storage and the substream is used for real-time viewing.Can I just watch it on the main stream?Can I turn off the substream?

Good day!

The reason for using subcodestream to watch is because of the network pressure between some viewers and the front end.

Using subcodestream to take up less bandwidth reduces the bandwidth pressure between them.

Hi Robin!

If you still want to change the live stream, you can try the following.

Set the recording stream to the primary stream and the default live video stream to the secondary stream. Use the secondary stream for live video playing on the IVS C/S client and on the video wall.

The procedure is as follows:

1. Log in to the IVS C/S client.

2. On the Workspace tab page, choose Para.Setting > Local Parameter and set the Default live video stream as Primary stream.

3. Click Save.
