Hello, everyone!

Our company has two network environments: internal network and external office network. Does Huawei FusionAccess Support Internal and External Network Isolation? If yes, how do I configure it?

Yes, friend!

Huawei FusionAccess supports Dual-Network Isolation.

You can refer to the following steps to configure Dual-Network Isolation function.

Adding IP addresses of the dual-network isolation servers

1. Log in to the desktop client and click dual-network isolation.

2. Click Add a new server address.

3. Add the IP address and name of the dual-network isolation server based on site requirements.

4. Click Confirm.

5. Repeat Step 1 to Step 4 to add another server address and name.

Enabling dual-network isolation

1. On the client login page, click enable dual-network isolation.

2. Click Configure.

3. Enable Dual-network isolation mode.

Configuring IP addresses of the dual-network isolation servers

1. Click Add pairing.

2. Select the IP address of the server that requires dual-network isolation from the Pairing group drop-down list.

Note:

  • After you press the switch button of the network switcher, the desktop cloud client switches between the paired addresses.

  • If you need to automatically log in to the VM during the switchover, save the username and password.

3. Click Apply.

Hope this helps!

Are there any restrictions on dual-network isolation? I remember using this feature before, but I don't know what happened, so far as I look at the system, it seems to have failed.

1. After Dual-Network Isolation is disabled, the dual-network identifier of the previously configured address is cleared. After Dual-Network Isolation is enabled again, you need to reconfigure the dual-network isolation address.
2. The switching function is valid only when a desktop cloud client exists. After the desktop cloud client is disabled, the switching cannot be performed.
