Hey there!

An AT8 board can be used in OSN580 and OSN550.

The only difference is the slot where it needs to be inserted. On OSN 580, the AT8 board can be installed in slots 1 to 14 and OSN 550 the AT8 board can be installed in slots 1 to 6.

The application scenarios are:

• PBXs are connected to OptiX OSN equipment through 2-/4-wire and E&M ports. Signaling is transmitted over the E&M port and voice services are transmitted over the 2-/4-wire. OptiX OSN equipment is equivalent to a signaling and voice relay.

• A single E&M port transmits only one channel of availability signals, generally remotely transferring enabling/disabling signals to achieve remote control.
