Does the Ethernet port in the FTTH terminal service profile connected to the MA5600T need to be configured with transparent VLAN transmission?
1. A customized terminal has a customized WAN port. Therefore, transparent VLAN transmission does not need to be configured for the ETH port in the service profile.
2. During E2E service flow creation, the VLAN of the corresponding Ethernet port is specified in the service flow, and transparent VLAN transmission does not need to be configured in the service profile.
3. Common ONT in bridge mode:
For the EPON ONT, you do not need to configure transparent VLAN transmission for the ETH port in the service profile, and only need to run the ont port native-VLAN command in board mode.
For the GPON ONT, you need to configure transparent VLAN transmission for the ETH port in the service profile, and then run the ont port native-VLAN command in board mode. In addition, the GPON ONT configuration mode changes with the OLT version. In some versions, transparent VLAN transmission does not need to be configured for the Ethernet port in the service profile either.
