Disconnection between U1981 and BMU

This topic describes the solution to the disconnection between U1981 and BMU.

Issue description

We got a disconnection issue between U1981 and BMU as per below snapshot.

BMU version is V300R001SPC200

U1981 version is V200R003C50

Solution

1. Make sure that you can open the web page of the U19xx and you know the config password. 

2. Make sure that this config password is configured as per below snapshot.

   

3. Login into the U1981 and make sure that the port for the BMU is 8000 with this command.
   

   show system bmu information

4. Make sure that you added the IP of the BMU as a trust server IP on the U1981 as per below command.
   

   config add trust server ip address x.x.x.x/xx

After we make the above steps the U1981 became connected to the BMU as per below snapshot.
