Disabling AP Isolation

Hi, there.


I really don't know where to post my question, this forum is a bit confusing for me. 

I hope it's in the right place.


I recently purchased Huawei 5G CPE Pro 2 model: H122-373


Everything is fine except for when I wanted to cast some content in my phone to Chromecast over the Wi-Fi, at that time I discovered the 2 devices are not able to communicate due to “AP isolation” is enabled.


I tried disabling it in the Wi-Fi settings but the choice of AP isolation is not even there I don't know how to find it.


Could you help me with that?

Thank you for your patience.

Connect the terminal to the H122 Wi-Fi signal, enter 192.168.8.1 in the address box of the browser, and press Enter to log in to the web management page. Enter the login password to access the management page, choose WLAN Advanced > WLAN > WLAN Security, and click the small pen icon to check whether the AP isolation function is enabled. The AP can be accessed only after the function is disabled. 

If you cannot change the configuration or do not have the configuration interface, your device may be a custom version. Please contact your device vendor to replace it with a general version.


If the access devices still cannot communicate with each other, please check whether the access devices have obtained the IP address (192.168.8.XXX) allocated by the DHCP of the H122. If no, configure a static IP address for your wireless access device.

I followed the exact steps...
AP isolation configuration interface is not there
It’s a custom model, I got it through my telecom company along with 5g subscription contract for 2 years, so I can’t replace it, I don’t know what’s the point for hiding such a choice! it’s weird and frustrating, I hope there’s a way around it..
