Hi,

For NE5000E i checked Disable the slow board function and execute it in diagnostic view: fes isolation disable.

I have followin questions:

1.any risk for disable the slow board function
2.the issue check on old software version,V800R006SPH033 ,now is V8R11,Does the issue still exist?

3. if 1 no risk ,then is it really necessary to implement it?

Hi Zahid_27,
After the fault isolation function of the FES board is enabled, the transmit end that uses the multicast channel detects the fault on the LFES board. If certain conditions are met, the faulty board is isolated from the multicast group. Otherwise, the control board cannot deliver data to other boards.
Therefore, it is recommended that the FES board fault isolation function be enabled.
In V800R011, the NE5000 still supports this function.

I only found this knowledge in the NE5000E product documentation. The NE5000E is a carrier product. You are advised to contact the carrier TAC for more help.
