Hello, dear!
Welcome to our community!
Stacking and clustering are similar to each other. They are used in industrial parks, safe cities, and campuses of enterprises. In these scenarios, the number of cameras is large, and multiple VCNs are required to meet security requirements. In this case, one VCN is selected as the unified service configuration and operation entrance to manage multiple VCNs in a centralized manner, reducing O&M costs.
The difference is that a cluster is an upgraded version of a stack. The cluster supports fault migration and load balancing.
Clusters have higher reliability than stacks.
