Hello everyone,

Service flow on MA5680T: service-port 16 vlan 2411 epon 0/13/3 ont 1 multi-service user-vlan untagged tag-transform add-double inner-vlan 293 inner-priority 0 inbound traffic-table index 11 outbound traffic-table index 11

Service flow on MA5680TG: service-port 43 vlan 2406 gpon 0/6/1 ont 17 gemport 0 multi-service user-vlan 41 tag-transform translate-and-add inner-vlan 181 inner-priority 0 inbound traffic-table index 13 outbound traffic-table index 13

What is the difference between the two, what do the two instructions mean, especially how to deal with the data frame VLAN?

Thanks.

Hello,

The first epon: On the user side, without the VLAN tag, add the inner VLAN 293 on the OLT, and then the outer VLAN 2411
The second gpon: the data band VLAN 41 from the user side, switch the inner VLAN tag to 181 on the OLT, and then add the outer VLAN 2406

Thanks

Hello, friend!

The two commands are explained as follows:

translate-and-add

Indicates the translation of the VLAN and the adding of a tag.

1. The C-VLAN tag is translated into C'-VLAN.

2. Then add an S-VLAN tag. That is, the user packet carries two VLAN tags (S+C') for upstream transmission.

3. When a two-layer VLAN tag is used to identify different user services (one to identify services, one to identify users), and the user VLAN planned on EA5800 is different from the VLAN in user packets, use this parameter.

add-double

Adds double tags. Adds two tags to user-side packets: S-VLAN and C-VLAN. This mode applies to:

1. Service flows for single services or based on user-encap user-encap traffic classification, whose S-VLAN is stacking VLAN, QinQ VLAN or Common VLAN.

2.untagged service flows, whose S-VLAN is stacking VLAN, QinQ VLAN or Common VLAN.

I hope it will help you.

Thank you!
