DHCPv6 on NE40 / CX-600

from your configuration, you enable DHCPv6 relay to assign IPv6 address for the terminals, so the IPv6 address pool should be checked whether the DNS is configured.

Hi @chenhui, thanks for replying, I don't have an ipv6 pool configured because I want to use dhcpv6 relay, the terminal makes the request but doesn't get a response.

The Dhcpv6 relay does not work, it does not redirect traffic to the specified host (FD36: 4609: 9004: 6009 :: 3), in the terminal I observe the ND Solicit but there are no responses, as observed in the capture.

On the other hand, does anyone know if version V600R006C00SPC300 complies with RFC 8106 IPv6 Router Advertisement Options for DNS Configuration?

I already had this problem. You have to configure de DHCPv6 DUID. Did you already do this?

On the system-view

I have made some captures and I have observed that my dhcpv6 server responds (Relay-Reply) to the host request, but for some strange reason the router (CX-600) does not deliver the information to the client (does not advertise)

The following screenshot shows that the client (fe80 :: 8ccd: fe17: 246f: e18c) continues to make SOLICIT even when the server has sent the response.

The following capture is a sample of the server's response, sends the IP to the host (2803: ---: b :: 2) and the dns server.

I applied the configuration to an access device (OLT), the CX-600 being my gateway. I have no problem with the DHCPv6 Relay, my devices take IPv6 without problems.
Conclusion: the CX-600 does not do dhcpv6 relay, at least with the configuration I applied, so far I don't know another.

If anyone knows how to do the dhvpv6 relay, stay tuned.
