dhcp problem on LAN

i have a HG8145V5 router.

I'm trying to apply it's DHCP on the LAN network and it's not working.

i have to apply static IP on the workstation (client).


please help.

Hi friend.


If you need to enable the DHCP function on the device, the DHCP service can work properly only when the device can access the DHCP server.


You can use the administrator account and password to log in to the WebUI of the device and configure the DHCP service of the device.


In the navigation tree on the left, choose Advanced > LAN > DHCP Server. In the pane on the right, you can configure the LAN side DHCP address pool for the ONT that functions as a gateway. After the configuration, the PC connected to the LAN port can automatically obtain an IP address from the address pool.

the only thing i didn't try is a different firmware.
